A brief recap should be adequate as the pictures sure do speak for themselves. . . . the afternoon was spent shopping (it was very interesting shopping. . . . CRYSTAL!!!), being accosted by several homeless individuals, and preached to for 20 minutes or so. . .after which we made our way down to pier 1 were we thought the fireworks would be showing. They weren’t. Lesharon, Crystal, Lachrisha and myself decided to make our way down to pier 39 on foot to catch a glimpse of them. . . . it was crowded to say the least. By the time we reached the pier . . . the wonderful display was over :-( . . . . we decided to make the most out of it, however, by purchasing the best doughnuts in the world!!!!! These little doughnuts are such a delight! This is precisely the time that we received a phone call that the rest of our group had already boarded the Bart and were on there way back to Pittsburg where are vehicles were located. . . . AHHHGGHHH!!!! With 5 million people pressed around us, we struggled to get directions to the closest Bart station which was back on Market Street. . . . right were we had started from! We decided the best plan of action was to run all the way back to try and arrive at the station as soon as possible. . . yes, we ran all the way back to pier 1!!! (Lesharon braved it in her socks!!!! Hehehe) The ride back on the Bart was an entertaining ride. . . .

I love the city! Two Christmases (?! is that a word?!) ago we got lost and I pleaded w a policeman to take is to Union Square...and he did! I especially love going to the city the day after Christmas to shop!!!! yay! Ok. I'm just too excited.
